I grew up in Southern California and have a B Arch degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and a Masters degree from MIT.

My work at Perkins & Will focused on commercial projects for workplace along with science and technology with much of it adaptive reuse. Projects include 799 Broadway and West End Labs along with headquarters for Unilever. Prior to joining Perkins & Will, I worked for Ennead, Rafael Viñoly and RTKL. My Linked In profile covers my architectural experience and education.

Recently my independent projects include the Future Station Project that reimagined gas stations in the transition to electric vehicles, funded by The Architectural League of New York and the New York State Council on the Arts. The Future Station Project was featured in Metropolis Magazine Spring 2024 issue and listed among 32 Adaptive Reuse Projects for a Better Future.

I’m teaching a third-year design studio in the architecture school at New York City College of Technology (City Tech) where we are focusing on adaptive reuse and at the New York School of Interior Design in their sustainability masters degree program.

With AIANY, I've worked with the Design for Risk and Reconstruction committee to promote resilience and improve our planning and urban design in New York City.

I combined my interests in travel and food to create a web series called Eat Drink See Architecture with over 90 short videos pairing an architectural site with a place to eat or drink nearby. As a filmmaker, I have taken classes from the School of Visual Arts and attended DOC NYC PRO sessions. You can find more of my films on Vimeo.
